Graffiti Art Programming or the Graffiti Gallery is located at 109 Higgins Avenue in Winnipeg MB, Canada. The gallery’s east wall hosts an evolving graffiti mural site: a Higgins Avenue landmark. The facility – a converted pickle factory and storage warehouse – hosts one large gallery space, two large studio spaces. The Gallery is a unique exhibition space defined by 30 foot ceilings, concrete floors, a second level catwalk, children’s art gallery, and media lab. The space is easily adapted, converted, and transformed to accommodate the variety of events hosted by local and visiting artists.
The Gallery is situated in South Point Douglas and is within walking distance from The Forks, Waterfront Drive, The Aboriginal Centre, Thunderbird House, and the Exchange District. Higgins Avenue bike lanes, Winnipeg Transit Bus Routes 44 and 47, as well as free parking on Higgins make our main gallery highly accessible to visitors throughout the year.
